A delightful antique Art Nouveau pendant from the late 19th Century decorated with an abundance of lustrous white seed pearls and eight radiant green peridots (approx. 3.2ct total). The open-work gallery consists of flowing, foliate motifs and milgrain bezel settings and is skilfully crafted in 15ct gold
Peridot is the birthstone of August and nicknamed the “evening emerald”. They’re considered a gem of the sun and a gift from mother nature with their natural lime-green colouring and inner light evoking the beauty of a sunny summer’s day, bringing joy and serenity to all who look upon it.
It’s a wonderful antique treasure. All in excellent condition with cheerful green, white and gold tones that complement each other beautifully.
